College Sailing

The University of Kansas and Kansas State are currently the local college sailing teams competing from the state of Kansas.

 

KU's club has a total of 8 420s and 2 Lasers in their fleet.  If you would like to read more, go to: www.kusailing.com.

Kansas State University restarted it's team in the Spring of 2016 and will be based at Perry Yacht Club's Dingy facility and  Washburn University, and Witchita State will begin a start-up phase in 2017 to establish sailing programs. 

All regional teams are members of the Intercollegiate Sailing Association and race nationally and regionally and we host teams such as Iowa, Iowa State, against Colorado, Nebraska, Missouri, University of Texas, Texas A&M, Baylor, SMU, OSU, Central Oklahoma, Grinnell and Tulane.
