Kansas Sailing​ Foundation

In the fall of 2013, 5 high school teams from 4 different school districts competed in the first State of Kansas High School Championship regatta hosted by the KU Sailing Team. In the summer of 2015, 8 teams from 6 High Schools from KC metro, Lawrence, and Wichita areas competed in 420s at Perry Yacht Club.  

 

The vision is to grow youth sailing in Kansas by developing students' general sailing skills and racing skills. All official events for High School Sailing are supported by Kansas Youth Sailing Foundation.
